THREE DAYS OF ROCK, WITH 10-MINUTE CHANGEOVERS BETWEEN MORE THAN 70 BANDS: IT’S OUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE, AND WE LOVE IT.
Brief
HRH has been rocking Wales for more than a decade, and we’ve been there from the start. A sell-out festival, our challenge is to step-up the excitement year-on-year. We manage over 70 bands, performing back-to-back.
John Davis came to us with a vision and a budget to produce a cost effective high quality festival in a unique residential environment.
Delivery
The puzzle of shoe-horning a production of that size into an existing venues to cater for 70 acts was the challenge. By extending existing stages, bring in extra show power, working with structural engineers on roof loadings for rigging and with some of the best lighting and audio designers we were able to turn ‘Cabaret’ style venues into mini arenas with the infamous HRH ‘wall of sound’.
The every best in stage crew send the rolling risers flying around the stage in a coordinated ballet of backline that achieves near impossible turnaround times to keep the audience in their place.
Results
Ten years of providing production has led to nothing but praise from both the client and the hundreds of artists appearing, from Killing Joke to Napalm Death, Black Label Society to Wasp, every artist has gone away happy and fully converted to the Hard Rock Hell brand.
